Grainwell

Grainwell was established by three sisters who design and create gorgeous, one-of-a-kind wood decor at their workshop in Covington, Kentucky. That's the short version of this up-and-coming brand's story. But they knew they had something more to say — they just weren't quite sure how to say it. That's where we came in.

After learning about their history and how they got their start, we proposed a brand video that would go beyond the average "about us" project and tell the true Grainwell story—one that would be meaningful to the women behind the brand and interesting to anyone curious to learn more. 

It was important to keep the family connection throughout the piece. Filming took place at their grandparents’ farm, as well as the Grainwell workshop, and the script payed tribute to their family history. Combining beautiful cinematography with an emotive script, we were able to produce something that not only explains what Grainwell does, but also honors the sisters' roots.
